Redgorge

About a day's travel south of Cauldron lies Redgorge. It was founded by Surubar Spellmason when he first came to this region. He is said to have come on a divine mission to defeat the demons of the Demon Jungle and he set up his camp where Redgorge now stands.

He constructed the Basalt Bastions, massive 50 foot tall walls between his base and the jungle. It is located next to a large quarry which is mined for its high grade iron. It is now a farming and mining village one quarter the size of Cauldron. It has visibly depopulated as anyone not working on the farms or in the mines has since moved to Cauldron.
